David Hollender has used technology to improve communication, information dissemination and service delivery for public, private and nonprofit sector organizations for over 25 years.

Mr. Hollender's diverse set of capabilities include search optimization, web site analytics, social media, and systems development.

As an Internet Strategist and Social Media Consultant, Mr. Hollender has helped organizations identify online tools of value and align them with their outreach, relationship building and other activities.  He has experience in delivering:

  1. Analytic services to drive data-driven improvements in online engagement, information dissemination, and service delivery.
  2. Web sites and other online tools; and
  3. Search engine optimization (SEO) services;

As a System Developer, Mr. Hollender has worked with a broad range of technologies, including many of the mainstays used to create and manage today's online communication tools like web sites, blogs, wikis, email and even search engines.  He has worked for large telecommunication companies, such as GTE (now part of Verizon), small business, and nonprofit organizations.

As an Innovator, Mr. Hollender created software to help professional associations build stronger and more consistent ties with their members.  A powerful research/professional development and communications tool, this tool delivered timely and targeted information to individuals while delivering news and links directly to their desktop from their professional community.

Mr. Hollender's emphasis on goal-driven approaches, measurable results and quality customer service enables clients to focus more on their mission and less on the technologies that support it.

Mr. Hollender is an active volunteer in the association community, and member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). As the chair of ASAE's Content Action Team for program year 2010-11, he was instrumental in bringing quality peer-learning programs to association professionals in the Washington, DC area. He is a 2011-12 member of ASAE's Communications Council.

When he is not helping organizations communicate online, Mr. Hollender likes to volunteer in his community, explore the hiking trails of Northern Virginia and visit nearby historical sites. He lives near Washington, DC.
